Business Development Manager
We are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help develop relationships with key Agencies, Publishers and Advertisers. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial business developer who already works within the online marketing industry but wants to step up to a more senior position. The key features of the role are:
closing business in pursuit of monthly objectives; forging strong relationships with agencies, publishers and advertisers; fulfilling all aspects of successful commercial relationships (pitch, proposal, closing, reporting); negotiating exclusive deals and getting the best rates with merchants and affiliate networks representing Freemax Media at industry events, conferences and round tables; supporting all aspects of customer care; appraising and developing the effectiveness of merchants’ online programmes.
The ideal candidate will have a successful business development background coupled with a strong knowledge of affiliate marketing approaches, including search, email and social media. You will also have a desire to step up to a leading role with Freemax Media, taking advantage of significant market expansion. You will be able to demonstrate your credibility with a combination of:
- 3 years + experience in a client facing business development/commercial role
- proven upper quartile performance levels in your domain
- confident, articulate person good at building long term relationships with clients
- development of key accounts with a complex consultative selling approach
- detailed understanding of UK affiliate marketing industry
- experience dealing with legal elements of commercial agreements
- excellent academic record
- strong oral and written skills
